I like the vintage look! Now, this one is not HDR, or is it? What made you decide against it?

No it’s not an HDR, for a change😊 truth is, I was going with fastest shutter speed trying to capture the drops of rain (HDR is definitely not for that). Considering its an old neighborhood I decided to go with the vintage look 😊

This neighborhood looks so much like many of the ones I’ve seen in Buffalo NY and throughout central MI. Very different from New England.

I’ve been to all 3 and I do remember how similar they look… to be honest I don’t remember New England being that different…. another trip is due then hahaha

Of the ones I have seen today, Bashar, this is the one I like best. I like the natural, rainy colours.

Love love this image – so well done. Its moodiness is very London-eque. Where was it taken?

This was downtown Toronto, from my brother’s front porch

What does “rainy” mean?…………lol
November 24, 2012 at 5:21 pm
Is that not a proper word? I looked it up and it’s valid 😊 As you can see I’m very committed to improving my English. Lol

I enjoy this change of “technique” Bashar… Vintage look gave it a bit of “nostalgia”

I’m very pleased with everyone’s reaction to this image. It’s nice when we are all in the same page 😊
