Venice Beach house
Just a beach house right on the boardwalk in Venice Beach, I placed the sun purposely in the frame trying to get a more colorful image π I would say 75% of the beach houses can be rented for the weekend or a few days and their price ranges from $300-$2000/night depending on the size of the house and the amenities provided. Around peak tourist season, expect a lot of college kids splitting the cost of such prime locations and crowding the areas.
very nice photo, like it! π

I think I used to have a picture of that house, too, although all my Venice pictures were lost in the Great Hard Drive Crash of August 2005.

There’s a big difference between the buildings I see here and in my country. I can’t help but feel amazed at the difference. H’m …

I hear you Sony… they are different in each city and I find it that climate plays a big role. For example, insulation is not a big thing in Southern California but its a major part of a house in Toronto where I grew up.

this is a great architectural shot. I’m getting excited for my LA trip because of it!

LA is great… as long as you can put up with the traffic. Try to visit San Diego, you definitely won’t regret it: its a more scenic, less crowded LA π

I lived in LA for a bit, as well as San Clemente, and yes – traffic was quite tough! I may be in San Diego next week. Looking forwrad to it!

Fantastic use of the sun for this image. I like the reflection in the window and the vivid colors that it brought out.
