The Path
If you ever wanted to get out of Griffith Observatory and wondered which road will take you out then there clearly is one sure bet 🙂 I’m not exactly sure but I believe this Normandie Ave. I just thought this illustrates the typical Californian city landscape: a lot of a low rise buildings/houses with a few business towers. This is a view of downtown Los Angeles.
Wow!

Great photo!! Now I have never been to California but wow your pic of LA reminds me a lot of Vegas. Did not realize that LA was also a desert before being developed. Thanks for sharing!

Great photo! It reminds me of Paris in a certain way, where there are hardly any buildings taller than 5 levels/floors.

We do think alike 🙂 I was thinking Paris when I took this shot but refrained from drawing any comparisons so I won’t be mocked!! 🙂

If you’re at Griffith Observatory, that’s probably not Normandie Avenue, and that’s not downtown Los Angeles either. You’re probably looking at Glendale or Burbank. Which way were you facing?
