PB Pier
An image of Pacific Beach’s Pier in San Diego. This is the unique Pier where its also a hotel for the closer portion of the pier; its a bunch of chalets on the outer edge while the pathway down the middle is open to the public. The remainder of the Pier is just a walkway for the public as the chalets end at one point. You can see the entrance here, check it out its quite funky π

Such a weird pier! Great photo! I remember when PB was the last beach in San Diego where you were still allowed to drink beer on the beach itself…i guess its for the best!

I saw footage of the brawl that ended the drinking on the beach… it was definitely for the better! Just go around the bars in PB and you’ll see that its still aggressive at times with so many drunk college kids.

Ha I can imagine! I never saw that footage but I remember how trashed the beautiful beach would be after fourth of July, etc….better that people take their beach cruisers a minute or two to an actual bar and have them deal with all that!
