Weekly Photo Challenge: Renewal

HDR, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Building, U of T, University of Toronto, vanishing point

My entry for this week’s photo challenge is the entrance of the Mechanical Engineering building at the University of toronto. I just wonder how many generations have walked through these doors with renewed hopes of a brighter future ahead. It seems like it was yesterday that we walked out of these same doors into the real world… there has been 12 classes since us!

  1. Excellent photo, and nice thought about the “renewal”! I am wondering, is this HDR? The colours are very nicely clear, but it does not have a very HDR effect, so I wasn’t sure.

    • This a 3 bracket HDR… my style of HDR is trying to replicate what my eyes saw with a bit of fantasy (if that makes sense :)). I don’t like the overly saturated HDRs and they really give HDR a bad rap!! Glad you liked it 🙂

      • That’s what I mean, it’s HDR without being too saturated. Love your work!
