Lights Out
A view of UTC / La Jolla from the top of Mt. Soledad. The very first post on this wordpress.com photoblog was a panoramic view of San Diego from the same spot, so I thought it was only fitting that the last entry should be were it al started but looking 180 degrees the other way 🙂 Starting tomorrow I’ll be posting from my self-hosted blog (http://www.2riversphotos.com)
University College
University College is a constituent college of the University of Toronto. It was founded in 1853 and considered by many as the founding college of the University of Toronto.
Weekly Photo Challenge: Thankful
There is so much to be thankful in this life but I wanted this post to be about you, the reader. From the second that I took this image (5 months ago), I’ve had this post in mind and I was waiting for the right opportunity that finally presented itself 🙂 I just wanted to say thank you for following my posts for the past year or so, it really has been an amazing experience for me and I hope you have enjoyed my almost daily posts. With that being said, all good things must come to an end… I’ve decided to move on to a self-hosted blog (http://www.2riversphotos.com) that I will transfer all this content to. I’m not sure if my contacts got transfered over there as there is no mention of it but I hope that you’ll come and follow me. I’m still working on a few things and hope to make the switch over the weekend, you’ll definitely know.
Regardless if you decide to follow me or not on my new website… this is the right time for me to say THANK YOU / MERCI 🙂 Its been an absolute blast.
Camp One Iron Ring
An image of the Camp One Iron Ring office at the University of Toronto which is the office that manages the replacement of lost rings. The office had an old feel to it and since it brought back so many memories I decided to go with the sepia look. If you’d like to know more about the iron (more…)
Clear Path
Downtown San Diego at night where all the traffic was going into the city as opposed to the ocean.

Field Level
Field Level access at the Rogers Center to a Blue Jays game. This was Blue Jays vs the Oakland Athletics which they went on to lose the game; I’m not a baseball expert but apparently the Jays are making some major moves in the off-season.
Scripps Pier
Yesterday’s post was about Pacific Beach’s Pier and today’s post is just a few miles further north, Scripps Pier in La Jolla. This pier unlike the others in San Diego, is not open to the public but is mostly used for research by UCSD; to be more specific its part of the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics (IGPP).

Stroll on the beach
An image of people taking a stroll on the sands of Pacific Beach. Pacific Beach’s Pier is quite unique, as you can see the first portion of the pier is made of chalets which is part of a hotel. That is the Crystal Pier Hotel, the link will take you to an image of the entrance.

Here’s to the weekend! (This is the logo of Stone Brewing Company in North County San Diego)
Setting the path
The sun has set a very clear path down the ocean on where its going to set from that day and I tried to get it right down the middle of the stairs as if its inviting you chase it down the ocean 🙂 Have a great hump day.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Renewal
My entry for this week’s photo challenge is the entrance of the Mechanical Engineering building at the University of toronto. I just wonder how many generations have walked through these doors with renewed hopes of a brighter future ahead. It seems like it was yesterday that we walked out of these same doors into the real world… there has been 12 classes since us!
