Here’s to the weekend! (This is the logo of Stone Brewing Company in North County San Diego)
Another picture from The Lost Abbey in Escondido which is a decent sized micro brewery. Apparently San Diego is famous for its micro brewery scene and lately I’ve been touring a lot of them, definitely much better than the big macro breweries! Hope you’re enjoying the weekend.
Its Friday so in honor of the weekend here is a diptych of beer kegs at the Stone Brewing Company in Escondido. Enjoy the weekend 🙂
A Picture of Hoangie’s food truck that serves Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwiches) on the go, they are actually quite highly rated so maybe I should’ve given them a try. I took this picture outside of The Lost Abbey while touring San Diego’s North county microbreweries.
A parked Ferrari at the Stone Brewing Company, this is the the F430 Spyder. The F430 was produced from 2004 to 2009, its the predecessor was the 360 and it was later on replaced by the 458 Italia.
This is the entrance/exit to the Stone Brewing Company in Escondido. They are San Diego’s most famous micro brewery.
Another collage from our day touring the micro breweries of North County San Diego. This is a brand new brewery (Offbeat Brewing Company)that had just opened up a few weeks before our visit; at the time they were only offering four kinds of beer! Considering how new the place is, I offered to give my images to one of the owners so if they ever use it its with my consent 🙂 (for those that are aware of my story with the Marriot)
An image of one of the beer tasters that you get when you take the Brewery tour at the Stone Brewing Company in North County San Diego.
This is the fermentation tank right outside the Lost Abbey, which is a micro brewery in North County San Diego. I could’ve sworn that my friend said that its actually in use but I think he was pulling a prank on me, I don’t see anything connecting to it to the main structure but then again what do I know about making beers!
The sign of the operating hours at the Stone Brewing company. Luckily the majority of us don’t have to work 11 hour days, but its Monday and for most its time to get back to the grind. Enjoy the working week 🙂
Spent yesterday touring the micro breweries in San Diego’s North County with a friend of mine; all in all we stopped at four different breweries and we took a tour at the last one. This particular image is of the layout of the “store” at the Lost Abbey which was our second stop. At the end I found it to be quite an informative day for me about the beer making process and what makes the flavours in them. Enjoy the last day of the weekend 🙂
