There is so much to be thankful in this life but I wanted this post to be about you, the reader. From the second that I took this image (5 months ago), I’ve had this post in mind and I was waiting for the right opportunity that finally presented itself 🙂 I just wanted to say thank you for following my posts for the past year or so, it really has been an amazing experience for me and I hope you have enjoyed my almost daily posts. With that being said, all good things must come to an end… I’ve decided to move on to a self-hosted blog (http://www.2riversphotos.com) that I will transfer all this content to. I’m not sure if my contacts got transfered over there as there is no mention of it but I hope that you’ll come and follow me. I’m still working on a few things and hope to make the switch over the weekend, you’ll definitely know.
Regardless if you decide to follow me or not on my new website… this is the right time for me to say THANK YOU / MERCI 🙂 Its been an absolute blast.
My entry for this week’s photo challenge is the entrance of the Mechanical Engineering building at the University of toronto. I just wonder how many generations have walked through these doors with renewed hopes of a brighter future ahead. It seems like it was yesterday that we walked out of these same doors into the real world… there has been 12 classes since us!
For this week’s entry I’m going with the Ocean Beach Fishing Pier. I just squatted down for this image and made sure that I was right down the middle to get all my lines parellel 🙂
This is my entry for this week’s photo challenge, a collage of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. The place has changed so much over the years that I hardly recognize it, where there used to be water they have built man made land!
Here is a silhouette from the negative tide pools at La Jolla Cove from last Wednesday. Little did we know we had a spectacular sunset in store for us that day, I could’ve sworn I overheard someone mention that you always get amazing sunsets when you have negative tides! Can anyone confirm if this is a fact or myth?
Here is my entry for this week’s weekly photo Challenge, the driver’s seat of my car (Mercedes C300). I’ve been thinking about selling it for a while and I’m leaning heavily to do so by the end of the year… You see I got this car when I first moved out to California because as soon as you move south of the border car prices start to drop ~ 30% so a lot of cars become instantly affordable! Four years into my California experience I’m starting to think that this car is not for me, don’t get me wrong I love how it runs and how reliable it is but everything else that comes with it; is not me! Life has been really good to me, I don’t worry about making two ends meet but I haven’t forgotten my humble beginnings, wealth (and happiness) is about the life experiences we build not the material we own & display! I’m not sure how long I will own this car for, but for now its still “mine”…. 🙂
I thought I would enter the weekly photo challenge for the first time since I have something that fits the theme, this is the near taking a picture of the far 🙂 I saw this couple trying (more…)
